**UPDATE**

I did it! The big race was last Saturday and it was amazing! The people, the experience...it could not have gone better. I finished in 2:40 - not bad for my first endurance event. I can't thank you all enough for your love, support & encouragement. Crossing the finish line was truly one of the most emotional experiences of my life...for so many reasons. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Cheers! Go Team!

**WELCOME MESSAGE**

Well guys I've decided to run a 1/2 marathon.

Why you may ask?!? There are a lot of reasons to run...improve my health and meet new people...but the main reason I've chosen to run is to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through Team In Training. All of us participating with Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. No matter who you are your life has been affected by cancer - through a family member, a friend, a colleague. I may not be able to complete life changing cancer research but I will complete this run & bring us one step closer to a cure!

I know that times are tough for a lot of people but please take a moment to consider making a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.

Thanks for visiting my site - check back for future updates.
