Welcome to the Team Henness home page!

We are training for the inaugural Los Angeles Half Marathon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. We are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Tyler, Virginia & Brecken are some of our honored teammates who have amazing stories.

Tyler, is 8 yrs old and has been fighting lymphoma for half his life. We've known Tyler since 2008 and have been following his progress. He's gone through a lot this year but still came out to see us after our 8 mile run. He knows that we are all doing this for him and others like him. He calls us his heroes. Be really, he is our hero.

How serious is blood cancer? Every five minutes, someone in the United States learns that he or she has leukemia, Hodgkin or non-Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma. Every ten minutes, someone dies of a blood cancer.
