6 Weeks To Go!

We are down to the 6 week mark!
It is time for me to make my final fund raising push and I thank everyone who has already contributed! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
The most important part of this event is not the race itself, but the good all your generosity does for those in need. With everyones help, we can beat L&L.
In these final weeks, I have a little under $600 to go to hit my goal!

Feeling a Bit Behind!

Hey Hey!
Happy Monday to everyone. Over the past week, I have been feeling a bit under the weather and have not been running as much as I needed to be, so I am feeling a bit behind!
This week is going to be busy! Our training schedules are picking up and so must my running! Thanks to everyone who has been sharing their stories with me, they are truly inspirational. I didnt know a lot of this was going on in all of your lives, so I commend everyones stoicism!
If you have yet to donate, please do so on my page! I am currently at 22% of my overall goal and that is SUPER EXCITING!!!! Remember, every bit helps!

First Week Down!

One week down and I'm already 15 miles strong!
Technically I am getting started about a week behind my fellow runners (making this decision was hard, but once I realized what a great cause this is for, I was off and running [pun intended].)
Thank you to everyone who will be following me during this journey. Remember, we not only do this for the ones we love, but for all of those battling cancers.
Please share your stories with me! I have a few special people in my heart who I run for, and I would love to hear about yours. I will need all the help I can get and what better way to be motivated than running for all of your loved ones as well.

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
