Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in this marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this race in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I will be running in honor of Laura Maloney, our Westside marathon team's Honored Teammate. Laura was a single mother of three when she was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. She is currently undergoing treatment while still training for the full marathon in San Diego, the same race that I am training for.

Any donation would be GREATLY appreciated. I am starting my fundraising early to hopefully surpass the minimum goal of $2,200. I have already gotten a head start in my training and will try to keep you posted on my progress.
