Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training page.

I'm training to participate in the San Diego Full Marathon on June 5th as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. I am not an athlete and to be honest I am kinda (VERY) scared to run for 26.2 miles non-stop (holy molly!!! what have I got myself into???, that's 5 hours running....). But I signed up and I am committed to finishing in 1 piece (hopefully)

So my birthday is coming up on March 15th and I thought since I already have the best gift on earth, my health, I would instead ask for donations for those who are battling cancer. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
