Marathon motivation: a survivor and real American hero

Thank for taking the time to visit my Team In Training home page and support me as I work towards my goal of completing The Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Marathon in honor of my dear friend, Jenna Benn.
I hate cancer.
When I was 15 years old my boyfriend was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric bone cancer, Ewings Sarcoma. Seany Robins was a talented baseball player with a very bright future and an unmatched will to live. Seven years, many remissions, and a valiant battle later, Seany succumbed to the disease. He left a hole in my heart and the hearts of all who knew him. Click to learn about The Seany Foundation.
This past December I received news of a diagnosis of lymphoma from my close friend, Jenna Benn. Jenna is nothing short of amazing; she is zestful, kind spirited, generous, a genuine lover of life and a loyal friend. I am deeply committed to helping her through the challenges of treatment and doing my part to aid in the search for a cure. I kindly ask that you contribute to making a difference in Jenna's life, and the lives of individuals fighting hard to win their battle against blood cancers by making a donation to support my participation in Team In Training. Together we demonstrate the love that will fuel Jenna's recovery and help find the real finish line - a cure that will put an end to cancer once and for all!
Follow Jenna's journey as she candidly shares her experiences and courageously wins her war against Lymphoma.
