PLEASE HELP US SAVE A LIFE!!

On November 1st of last year, Krissy and I finished our first half marathon. This was definitely the longest distance that either one of us had ever run before. Although 13.1 miles is an impressive achievement for anyone, it was especially inspiring that Krissy accomplished her hardest athletic feat soon after being diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome or "MDS." Needless to say, I felt pretty silly complaining about sore feet when my running partner was (is) battling with a life threatening bone marrow disease. It put things in perspective for me, very quickly.

As further testament to her strong will, she has already signed us up for our second half marathon! We are in the midst of training for our next race which is coming up on May 31st in San Diego, CA and we need your support!

I realize that I just recently solicited many of you for donations less than six months ago but it only takes $10 each to achieve our fundraising goal (but obviously the more the better since it goes to such a great cause and it's tax deductible...something to keep in mind with April 15th around the corner)!

If you know Krissy personally, you already know how lucky we are to have her in our lives. Her smile alone can make your day. Even if you don't know her, there may be a time in your life when someone you know will be affected by some form of cancer. All funds raised with your help will go towards The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
