Racing to Save Lives

Hi friends and welcome to my Team In Training home page.

Before you read below I want you to know that I have met my minimum goal of 2500 and 75% of that goes to LLS. Any amount after 2500 goes DIRECTLY to research and treatments for LLS.

I'm training to participate in the San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon on May 31st as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Did you know every week, there are 1,900 new cases of leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma diagnosed in this country. Every week, approximately 1,155 Americans die of leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma.
