Welcome to my Team In Training home page.



I'm training to participate in the San Diego Rock 'n Roll Marathon May 31, 2009 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Over the years I have been affected by this disease in more ways than I could have imagined. Cancer has taken the lives of family members and friends' loved ones. A close friend, whose family was unfornately touched by blood cancer, introduced me to TNT and told me what a difference it has made. Over 894,000 people are living with some form of blood cancer in the United States, and it is estimated that every ten minutes another person will die from leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. I am sure that most people have been affected by this disease in one way or another. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. The survivors are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
