Welcome to my Team In Training home page! As many of you know, I have been involved with TNT in some capacity for the past few years. I started as a participant on the Marathon team, was inspired to be a mentor and had an amazing experience that grew into the Dashing Divas that I cherish. They even let me be an assistant coach for Nike in 2011 :) That same year TNT gave me the opportunity to become a triathlete as a participant for LavaMan. What an experience! This year I am back to mentoring on the Nike/Disney marathon team while training with the Tri team for the Nations Tri in Washington DC. Both events are right around the corner!

I share my adventures with TNT because they are journeys that have challenged me and helped me grow as a person. But I also want to to keep the real challenge at the forefront of my message. We are hear to find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma. I stay involved in this organization, not because I like to run (and apparently swim and bike), but because almost every season there is a survivor running next to me. Or an honored teammate that touches the hearts for everyone on the TEAM. These people are with us and involved in TNT because treatments developed by LLS, with funds directly from TNT, helped them win or continue to fight their battle.

There is no greater inspiration than having someone tell you they are alive today because of people like you.

It is a great reminder that every donation helps. Please do what you can to help advance the research for cures so more people have success stories to share :)
