I'm training to participate in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco on October 16th, fundraising in support of cancer research and all who are affected by the disease.

When I was only 23, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Melanoma; the deadliest form of skin cancer. I received exceptional care with cutting-edge technology, and it's because of fundraising non-profits like Team In Training, that helped make this possible. Millions of people, worldwide, have continued to enjoy another birthday because of these programs and their support in the fight against cancer. Now it's my turn to give back, and I couldn't be more thrilled about doing so...but I need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I have a big fundraising goal to meet, but I know with our generous and thoughtful family & friends, I'll get there in no time.
