Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
Hello Family and Friends,
I'm training for my first half-marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. I began wanting to train for this event to benefit my health. But, after speaking to my friend's mom and hearing her story about how the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society gave her a second chance at life, I wanted to help contribute to this organization so that more people battling these diseases can have a new lease on life.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
