Racing to Save Lives


As most of you know, during the past two years I had the great honor and privilege of working as a Campaign Manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). When I left the organization in November to pursue another career, I vowed that I would come back in the near future as a volunteer to continue supporting this great organization. And so, despite the fact that I don't love running (or getting up early on weekends).... I am back and training for my very first marathon with Team In Training! I will be running the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco on October 18th, in honor of everyone I know who has faced their own challenges with cancer - including all of the incredible individuals that I met while working at LLS.


About the Organization

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the nation's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to curing blood related cancers. Together with my teammates, I am raising funds that will go towards research, clinical trials, patient services, educational outreach and advocacy.
