Running to Save Lives

Hello friends, Jeff Lindquist here...

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I will be running the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco on October 18, 2008 . This race is a major fundraising event for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I have committed to generate awareness through fundraising and so I am dedicated to reach/exceed $3,200 to further the Society's mission.

No less than 75 cents of every dollar raised goes directly back to the cause and all donations are 100% tax-deductible. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Tax ID is #I3-5644916. I ask for you to choose to make a difference - live inspired!

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I am running this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - finding a cure!

Like most people, I have friends and family who have had, or are currently battling different types of cancer. Their strength and determination have truly been an inspiration to me. An honored teammate of ours, a little boy recently told us "Just ask, people will want to give, lots of people always want to give".

I'm asking for your help in the form of a donation to support Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Every Donation helps!

This year will mark the 20th Anniversary of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program, and our goal this year is to surpass $1 Billion raised over those 20 years.
