Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in the Nike Women's 1/2 marathon in San Francisco as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.

We had an awsome time at the wine tasting, thank-you celebration. Thanks to all of you who came and got away with some great silent auction items. Thanks especially to Damon Castillo and Larry Kim for providing us with some great music. Of course thanks also to Gary and Teresa Burk for the wine and use of their tasting room. It was a very successful evening!

Here is a look at my training schedule:

June 21 - 3 miles

June 28 - 4 miles

July 5 - 5 miles

July 12 - 6 mile - oh I'm sore tonight!

July 19 - 6 miles

July 26 - 4 miles (rest week)

August 2 - 7 miles - thanks for running with me Uncle Eric

August 9 - 8 miles (last week was worse!)

August 16 - 9 miles (hope the campground has some trails)

August 23 - 6 miles (rest week)

August 30 - 9 miles (that was not bad at all)

Sept 6 - 10 miles (then party at the winetasting thank-you that night)

Sept 13 - 11 miles

Sept 20 - 8 miles (rest week, thank goodness, it's my birthday week)

Sept 27 - 12 miles

Oct 4 - 10 miles (begin taper before race)

Oct 11 - 5 miles ( continue to taper)

Oct 18 - 1-2 miles (day before race) we shopped in SF and ate Dim Sum in Chinatown

OCTOBER 19 -- RACE DAY!!! -- 13.1 MILES!!
