Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I'm training to participate in the Nike Women's 1/2 Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. As a child psychologist, I was sad to hear that Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children under the age of 20. A recent visit with the young patients at Children's Hospital LA was what really motivated me to help with this cause. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, including our honored teammate (little) Audrey Moeller, one of the bravest little girls I've ever met. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

My own personal goal is to donate $100 or more of the monthly proceeds from my new private practice, A WORK OF HEART, CHILD AND FAMILY CENTER.
