Racing to Save Lives



Welcome to my Team In Training home page.



I'm training to participate in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. Held at Zuma Beach in Malibu on September 13th, the triathlon breaks down to a 1/2 mile swim, an 18 mile bike ride and a 4 mile run. It's no Ironman, but whew, I'm going to need each and every one of these 17 weeks of training. I can't believe I'm attempting a triathlon, but so far the TNT group has been incredible.



All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! I am also competing in honor of my late grandmother, Jan Forte, who died of a blood cancer in 1996.
