Walking to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I am helping to save lives by raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I would be honored if you join me in this effort. In addition to funding research to eradicate blood-related cancers, your tax-free donation will enable the Society to provide important services to cancer patients and their families. To entice you to contribute to this important cause, I am training to walk the Honolulu marathon on December 14th as a member of the Society's Team In Training (TNT). This will be my seventh marathon with TNT to raise funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. As before, I am participating in this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! This season my team has three honored team members: Alyssa, Erin, and Katie. In addition to walking for them, I am dedicating my training this season to Bill Campbell, who lost his battle with lymphoma on March 28, 2006.

In recognition of TNT's 20th anniversary this year, I have set a personal fundraising goal of $10,000. I need your help to achieve or exceed this goal! Please join me in saving lives by making a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
