We save lives!Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in the Disneyland Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! I am also running in memory of my friend Jake, my Auntie Kathie, and my personal hero, my father.
My event is only a couple weeks away now! Time is really going by quickly! I am definitely ready for the run, but I need your help with my fundraising. You can see I am close to my goal, but I still need your help to achieve it! Tomorrow (Sunday, 8/22) we will be running 14 miles, then I will start tapering down to rest up for the race. My race goal is to break 2 hours!
