Transform a Chubby into a Hottie by donating to a great cause!Welcome to my Team In Training home page. Thank you for coming.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission, while helping me get back into great shape at the same time.
Update: Week 6 for me, week 7 for the team. So far, we've ridden loops in El Segundo, the PCH in Malibu, rolling hills in Rancho Palos Verdes, from Playa del Rey past Venice, Santa Monica and to The Wall near Sunset Blvd. The rides are an amazing teambuilding adventure. Hearing the stories of why all the participants chose LLS is incredibly moving. So glad I'm doing this in honor of my brother-in-law Mark who has stage 4 lymphoma and per the request of my grandmother, to honor her husband (my grandfather), my father, three uncles and an aunt (4 of her children) all gone before us.
