Chris and Sarah are Cycling to Save Lives

Thanks for visiting our webpage. We're training to participate in America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. We are completing this Century Cycle (100 mile) ride in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.

This time last year, Sarah trained with Team In Training and completed her first Century. She rode 100 miles around beautiful Lake Tahoe in honor of loved ones fighting cancer and in memory of loved ones who lost this battle. The 1,500 Team In Training cyclists at the event last year raised $6.8 million to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Sarah's 2009 Westside LA Cycle Team raised over $100,000, enough to fund a clinical trial for a new cancer treatment.

This season, both Glasgows are training and fundraising and we've got three weeks left to go. Our goal is to raise $6,000 together and both be ready to ride 100 miles at altitude on June 6th. We know with the support of our friends, family, and colleagues we can do it!

Like most people in this day and age, we have a personal connection to cancer. We lost Sarah's mom to cancer three years ago. Chris's mom is a cancer survivor who participated in her very own Century Cycle with Team In Training in October. Cancer is a disease that unfortunately has or will touch all of us personally or through friends and family. We are doing our part to limit the reach of blood cancers and get us across the ultimate finish line - a cure!
