Racing to Save Lives

Welcome

to my Team In Training home page.

Just to give everyone an update: This Saturday our SVG team got to run in the Santa Monica Christmas run. We all ran the 5k and had so much fun. This acted as my pace assessment and was the first time I had kept time for a distance, so I was happily surprised that I was able to run it in under 30 minutes.

I'm training to

participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia &

Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In

Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin

lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in

honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. For me specifically, I became inspired to run a marathon by two individuals. The first person who I am running for is Ezra Sherman, who was an amazing boy who I look up to for his enthusiasm for life and goodwill towards all. The second person, is my teammate Tasha who is one of the strongest people I know, and is someone who never gives up. These people are

the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the

ultimate finish line - a cure!
