Howdy, and welcome to my Team In Training home page. Team in Training is a fundraising arm for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The LLS is non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to aid in the research for treatment of Leukemia & Lymphoma as well as to work with patients and families battling these diseases.

Over the past few years I have become very acquainted with the devastation and struggles that come with Leukemia. I have been priviliged to witness a couple close friends battle bravely with this disease. These friends will always be with me in my heart and the courage they and their families displayed, especially their children, have inspired me to run the Los Angeles marathon to raise funds for the LLS. On many occasions I have directly witnessed the efforts of the LLS and how they have aided families fighting these battles.

I am hoping to make this a new part of my life and hope to be able to run many races and raise funds for this cause until a cure is found. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the LLS more info can be found at www.leukemia.org. For those of you who can give, thank you so much. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by all of us who have been directly affected by the disease. For those who can't, thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Awareness is a major factor in fighting any diseases. For all please spread the word to as many people as you can. Every little bit helps from every one.
