Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

Happy new year! It's 2010 - can you believe it? I sure can't!

I began 2009 in not great shape, but I finished it in much better condition. Thanks to Weight Watchers, especially my meeting group in Santa Monica. Thanks to my friends and family, who have encuoraged and supported me in my efforst to improve myself and get healthier. And special thanks to Jen, who has supported and encouraged me every step of the way!

I also want to give special thank to Team in Training. Once I decided that I wanted to run a marathon, I looked for a group that could give me the support and training I needed, as well as a goal that I could support and for which I could raise funds. Team in Training has been a great match - thanks to all of my coaches, mentors, supporters, honored teammates, and running partners! GO TEAM!

I also have to express my appreciation for everyone who has donated to my website. Your support for me and for Team In Training will help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society reach their ultimate goal - a cure! You are also making it possible for me to run the Los Angeles Marathon - hopefully I will finish in a respectable time!

If you haven't been able to make a donation yet, there is still time to do so. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and to help advance LLS's mission.
