I'm Racing to Save Lives including my own.
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and because I am a patient. I was diagnosed with CLL in May 2005. I have completed 5 cycling events; 1 half-marathon; 2 triathlons and this will be my second full-marathon, all trained by TNT for LLS.
Every donation brings us closer to finding a cure! Donations to LLS through TNT have funded the research that produced the MIRACLE drug GLEEVEC that is a life-saver for people with CML. One down; more to go.
