Help me give Cancer a swift kick in the ass!
As some of you may already know, I have joined forces with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training to run the 2010 Walt Disney World Marathon on January 10, 2010.
As a member of The LLS Team In Training I am raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
This race will be the most arduous physical challenge I have ever undertaken and I am excited to train and compete in this event for this amazing cause.
Friends and family, this is where you come in. In order to participate in this event, each TNT member must raise a minimum of $3800. Over 75% of that minimum amount goes directly to blood cancer related research. Please help me to meet this minimum fundraising goal or better yet, surpass it! Donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated greatly.
