Racing to Save Lives

Hello Friends!

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco this October as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Last year, I was able to have one of the most rewarding experiences in my life: completing the Nike Women's Half Marathon and raising over $7,500 along the way. Many of you helped me reach those goals! But now I am hungry to do more- to raise more money, have a bigger impact, and run further than I ever have before! So this time I'm serving as a mentor for new Team In Training participants (can you imagine that- me, helping people learn how to run?), and training for the full marathon!

Through my experience last year, I was able to connect with so many people who were affected by blood cancers, and I was able to see how the LLS directly impacts their quality of life, and honors the memories of those who lost their battles with the disease. I invite you to help me continue to make a positive difference in these brave individuals' lives.
