Racing to Save Lives
Thank you for stopping by my TEAM in Training page!
On Saturday, January 9, 2010, I will be running the Walt Disney World Half Marathon in Orlando, FL as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on TNT are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I am completing this event in honor of my mother, Maria Jung (who beat colorectal cancer), college classmate and friend Susan Greene, in memory of college classmate and friend Katie Kanowsky, and all individuals and families who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line......a cure!
For any of this to happen, however, I need your help! By starting with a donation as simple as $1 per mile completed ($13) or $2 per miled completed ($26), you are contributing to this outstanding cause. Should you choose to give more, your generosity and support will be sincerely appreciated. Keep in mind that no donation is too large or too small and any assistance you can provide is welcome at any time.
