Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in the San Diego Rock n' Roll Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I have started my training and am running about 3-5 miles 4 days a week with some other cross training activites as well.
I just got back from Columbia, SC for work, a nice place to run!

Running and fundraising are starting to pick up speed! I had a chance to run at the University of Georgia a week ago on a business trip... that place is seriously hilly I don't recommend long runs there! The marathon team is going for 8 miles this Saturday should be a good time I think it is supposed to be 27 degrees!

Ran 13.5 miles with the team amongst some of the most beautiful horse farms in the world! The highlight were the foal's and parent horses who would run up alongside the fence with me as I ran by. The bluegrass is about as green as it gets!
