Thank you Carole, David, Dad...my honored heroes.

Please help me reach my goal of raising $5,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training (TNT). I am running the Nike Marathon on October 19, 2008 in honor of those people touched by blood cancers.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The numbers…

$5,000: My fundraising goal for 2008. It is possible and every donation gets us closer to a cure!

104.8: The miles I have run in Team in Training events (Chicago Marathon 2004, San Diego Marathon 2005, Chicago Marathon 2005, KY Derby Mini-marathon 2006 & 2007).

Lots of tears; a new diagnosis, a treatment set back, hearing from a friend “My bone marrow is cancer free.” Also, at each of those five finish lines I was really choked up; I can raise the money but I can’t cure cancer.

1,000,000: Laughs. This group of people has made me laugh so much. I thank them for the inspiration and support.
