Racing to Save Lives


Welcome to John & Erika Wickett's Team In Training home page.


We are training to participate in the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. We are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. On May 7, we will walk the 13.1 miles in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, especially John’s mother, Noreen Cedars, a lymphoma survivor. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

"What a great cause! I did a big walk for breast cancer last year and had to raise a lot of money and did it in honor of my mom, so I think it is great that the both of you are doing this! It is the least we can do for all of the people that have to go through any cancer battle! Best of luck!"
