Racing to Save Lives


Welcome to my Team In Training home page!


I'm training to participate in the Nike San Franciso Women's 1/2 Marathon on October 17, 2010 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I was inspired to join Team in Training after losing my Nanny to cancer in 2007. While my Nanny wasn't a victim of blood cancer her battle made me want to help fight to find a cure for ALL cancers. I'm also racing in honor of my team's hero, Lourrie. Lourrie was diagnosed with leukemia in April of 1999 and is now in remission. People like Lourrie are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
