Victoria's wish granted by Make-A-Wish
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in the Apple Cider Century Ride, a 100-mile bike ride, as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I am completing this event in honor of my niece, Victoria. Victoria was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the Spring of 2009 and, after more than two years of chemotherapy, she is scheduled to complete her treatment this summer. At age 11, she is ready to enter 6th grade with a new lease on life - literally.
Victoria would like me to dedicate this ride to all individuals who are battling cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
