On an annual basis, we train as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. This year we will participate in the ING Miami marathon on January 29, 2012.
Over the past 4 years, we have been raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We have run in over 20 marathons and half marathons for a total of 586 combined miles in races and hundredes more in training. We have raised over $21,000 with your generous support.
We continue to train all year, in the summer heat and the icy cold winters. We feel it is a small sacrifice to make when someone is facing cancer. With your help we can one day cure blood cancers. The Leukemia and Lymphoma society provides both financial aid and support services to families. In addition, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society provides financial assistance for research into a cure for blood cancers.
We know that this is a hard year, and that many of you have contributed to us in previous years. We also know that many of you have a favorite organization that you give yearly. If you can find it in your hearts to contribute to us this year, we would be truly grateful.
