Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

As most of you know, I have been competing and training for triathlons for about 8 years now and it truly has become a passion of mine. When I am not training and racing though, I am spending my time finishing my degree in cancer epidemiology. Understanding what causes cancer and how we might help better treat patients is one of my primary interests and brings us to why I am asking for your help.

After spending time with Team in Training I was really moved by their mission to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in triathlon the first week of April as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

I AM SOO close to my fundraising goal. Thank you so so much to those that have contributed! your support means so much to me, and this is really a great organization. You all have been amazing! The race is right around the corner and I want to make sure I reach my fundraising goal just in time!
