Hope and Healing for Superman Sam Sommer

I recently received the news that a 6 year old boy in our community, Sam Sommer, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Superman Sam, as he is known, is my inspiration for running the Chicago Triathlon Sprint race in August. I am running with Team in Training and raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. My hope is that this will bring strength to Sam's fight, and help find a cure to prevent this terrible disease.


Superman Sam has shown incredible strength in his "new normal", and has been an inspiration to so many.
