Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

     I can't believe it has been 6 years since my mom passed away after a year-long battle with Leukemia.  I think of her often, especially during her favorite holidays.

     In her memory, and to help support the millions of other people who suffer from blood diseases, I am running the Chicago marathon in October with Team in Training.  This is my 8th event with TNT and I appreciate all of my friends and family who have helped support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in my past races.

     Your contribution, of any size, is key to finding a cure.  You can donate quickly and easily by clicking on the "Donate Now" button below.

"WTG Mike. This disease has also hit home for the Power family recently. A good friend's 2 year old grandson was diagnosed recently and just last week began the bone marrow transplant procedure out in Seattle, WA. I don't know how you find the time to prepare for such a grueling race. I hope to see you running with the leaders at mile 26!!!!"
