I am raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), an organization dedicated to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. Since the first funding in 1954, LLS has awarded more than $680 million in research funding.

Running in memory of Thomas Robert Jones

I am running in the Chicago Marathon, in memory of my father, Thomas R. Jones, who passed away after a long battle with leukemia, in 1988. While we only spent 2 years together, he has been a large inspiration in my life.

Leukemia and lymphoma have also affected a number of my friends and family including my late Grandpa Mac.
