Theta Chi: The Helping Foot
Welcome to the Team In Training home page for the Rho Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity.
In an effort to further philanthropy, brotherhood, and athleticism, we are extending the helping hand (and our legs) by training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training; namely, the Christie Clinic full and half-marathon on May 1st, 2010. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please consider supporting our efforts to get our name out and assist all people fighting against these horrific diseases. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. This is the last week we will be raising money before the marathon, so we need all the help we can get to reach our goal! Every little bit counts and helps not only our fraternity, but many people fighting leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
We hope you will visit our web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see our progress. Thanks for your support!
The following members have committed to running this half, full, or marathon relay: Steven Torrez, Ross Worobel, Seth Granback, Prerit "Pre" Mahajan, Griffin Kell, Pat Maldre, Brian Kelinson, Jaime Gonzalez, Michael Chan. Most of these members will begin training 12 weeks prior to the maraton and many more members will be volunteering at the marathon, supporting our cause and the people running!
