Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I initially took on this challenge in memory of two loved ones who lost their lives to cancer, my mother-in-law, Carol, and my auntie Adrienne. This journey has taken me far beyond what I could have ever imagined. I am inspired by the strength that our honored patients have to continue to fight daily, I am amazed at how many people are willing to come together to help others in our community and l am grateful for the people in my life who have shown me the support it takes to make it through this challenge.
Sadly, one person every 10 minutes loses their life to a blood cancer. I encourage you to help by making a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's life saving mission.
