September 2012 marks 2 years of being in remmission from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, an all too common blood cancer that strikes young and old alike. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society were directly involved in funding the research that lead to the treatment that saved my life. For that I am forever greatfull. The treatment wasn't easy. It made my hair fall out and I spent many days and nights in the hospital in 2010..... a small price to pay for my beautiful life.

I'm on a mission to help find cures and more effective treatments for Lymphoma, Leukemia and all blood cancers.

To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in:

• • The Honolulu Olympic Distance Triathlon ~ May 20th
• • The Waikiki 2.4 Mile Rough Water Swim ~ September 3rd
• • The Honolulu Century Bike Ride ~ September 30th

I'm participating in these events as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training program. I will be raising funds to help find cures. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating in these events and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for other patients and their families as well.
