WELCOME TO MY LAVAMAN 2015 TEAM IN TRAINING (TNT) HOME PAGE!

As I begin this journey to improve my Lavaman 2013 performance, some changes this past year....

My cousin, Denise, lost her battle...

We were not always close, however, she is one of my honorees who always help me get through every event and training.  

Her cancer struggle began many years ago....May what she went through help others....

  Joyce's light also went out this year....  

Her cancer struggle brought home the impact of what Team has on people's lives and how much more still needs to be done....

My uncle continues to fight his cancer, as with others, there are good days and some not so good days.  We have been blessed with more than we could have hoped for him.  

I began with Team several years ago with a feeling of helplessness against the incipid cancer....My stepdad, Leon, and Alternate Mom, Tove, both were battling and near the beginning of my team in training journey their lights were extingished...

So Many People have won, so many have lost....

Let's make it so not one more person loses!

By participating as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) TNT, I am raising funds to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

The treatments for blood cancers help those with many other kinds of cancer....both Leon and Tove benefitted from discoveries funded by LLS and TNT.
