Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us so far in our fundraising efforts!
We have some more fun events planned for the summer, so make sure you mark your calendars!
Up next...
Guest Bartending at Tope
Our last guest bartending at Tonic was a huge sucess! We had such a blast pouring drinks for all of our friends and we raffled off some really great prizes. If you weren't able to make it, or if you're intersted in having some more fun with Team R.A.C.H.E.L., make sure you make it to our next event:
Tope: Show Us Your Tips
Tope SF
1326 Grant Avenue
Thursday, June 18th
5:30-9:00pm
We'll be slinging drinks to save lives and raffling off some more amazing prizes. Make sure you don't miss out!
As you can see from my new fundraising page, I've decided to join forces with 5 of my amazing teammates in fundraising for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Together, our names spell R.A.C.H.E.L., so we've adopted the name Team R.A.C.H.E.L. for our fundraising efforts!
The 6 of us met back in December, when I started with my first team, training for the Lavaman triathlon. Since our team ended, we've been doing bike rides on the weekends, open water swim, some runs, and lots of planning for our fundraising.
We know that a lot of our family and friends just donated towards our fundraising efforts in the past few months, so we've come up with a lot of fun events, where people can attend and help us raise money. Our first event is coming up next week!
Thursday, May 15th: Guest bartending at Tonic
Tonic
2360 Polk Street, San Francisco
6:00-9:00pm
Come in for happy hour, watch us bartend and show us your TIPS!
~All tips from the event go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society~
Welcome to Hayley's IronWoman 70.3 Team in Training Page!
Yes, this is correct. I have indeed lost my mind. I have not yet completed my first triathlon, and I have already signed up for my first half ironman race!
I drank the triathlete Kool-Aid and I liked it!
I have loved my triathlon training so far. I'm really enjoying the combination of sports and the challenge. I love working out with my team and I have met so many inspirational people, that I want to continue raising awareness for blood cancer and raising funds to help fight it!
I will be swimming 1.2 miles, biking 56 miles and running 13.1 miles on September 13, 2015.
By participating as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) TNT, I am raising funds to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
Your donation will help fund treatments that save lives every day; like immnuotherapies that use a person’s own immune system to kill cancer. You may not know it, but every single donation helps save a life with breakthrough therapies such as these.
Patients need these cures and they need your support.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help get us all closer to a world without blood cancers.
Thank you!
