Welcome to our team's Team In Training home page.

We are training to participate in an endurance event, the Disney 1/2 marathon, as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We are completing this event in honor of Amelia Odle and all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Amelia was diagnosed with AML (acute myelocytic leukemia) February 14, 2008 when she was 18 months old. After several rounds of radiation and chemo and eventually a cord blood transplant, she has been in remission for over 2 years. In honor of her second transplant birthday we decided to participate in this cause with the hope to not only raise funds for research and patient support but to raise awareness as well.
