Status Update:
June 9th Update:
Thank You, Thank you, Thank you to everyone who has helped me reach my goal! I am excited and nervous about the upcoming run in Seattle as it will be the farthest I have ever run. I am now up to about 30 + miles a week! Thank you again for all of your support!

March 25th Update:
I am Very sad to report that I am now running in honor of 3 wonderful and inspiring people. My father who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 2nd, and my step-grandmother who was an avid runner, and of course my grandfather. This has been a very difficult month but running and focusing on my goal to help raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is helping. I still need help to reach my goal. I have about $3000 left to raise before April 24th. Thanks to all of you who can support me during this difficult time. I am up to about 15-17 miles a week now!

February 20th Status
The past 6 weeks I have had fun training, and I am happy to report that I also participated in the Critz Tybee Run on February 7th. It was my first race so I decided to try the 8K, which I ran at 52 minutess 18 seconds. It was fun and very challenging for me because that is the farthest I have ever run!
I am looking forward to Seattle and hope you will continue to support me in my efforts. I still need $4000 to help The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all again for your support.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of my grandfather who passed away last summer, as well as all those individuals who are battling cancer. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
