Info about Jeffs amazing painting

"Blind Man Plays the Sax" dimensions are 12"x15" . The

medium is acrylic on canvas. The painting was painted in 2005.

Story Behind “Blind Man Plays the Sax”

I like jazz music a lot. When I was working on the Painting entitled Blind Man plays the sax. I was up late at night painting, and listening to jazz music. The pictures embodies the music of jazz, and displays the late night energy of the city. The figure in the painting is alone, but is comfortable being a solo musician. Sometimes I look at myself as a musician; instead of using musical instruments, I use paint, and brushes.

Please help me on this very special journey.

I know most of us have been touched by some form of cancer. For me my loving aunt and a few co workers are breast cancer survivors and my brother was diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkins lymphoma.

After watching my brother face a long battle to include severe pain and what we call "chemo brain" he is in remission. He has scheduled cat scans to make sure his status does not change. Seeing my brother accept this challenge in his life has given me hope and it has motivated me to accept my own challenge.

So I joined Team in Training and have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers.

To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
