to Warren's Team In Training home page.
This will be my second year to participate on the Georgia Chain Gang RAAM Ride. Last year was a great adventure and a life changing experience. I was proud to have helped raise over $82,000 for LLS. In 2010 I will be the Crew Chief, building on last years success I know we will improve on our efforts, pull together a balanced and efficient team while raising more money and awareness of the LLS Mission.
I am a Non Hodkin's Lymphoma Survivor. First diagnosed and treated in 2005 the dread disease has returned. I recently underwent a second round of treatment that should have ended in February. Unfortunately it was not as successful as I had hoped, presently I am in a wait and see mode and plan to begin treatment after we complete RAAM. As painful as this process has been I am a first hand witness to the growing strides treatment has taken in just 4 years. I am convinced that this rapid progress is due to on going reseach that our fundraising helps support.
My disease is chronic, a positive attitude, cancer research, the love and support of so many have helped me survive. I live for the day when a cure can be found for all those effected.
Please help us fight Blood Cancers, support the LLS TNT and please Support the Georgia Chain Gang!
