Racing to Save Lives
Hello everyone,
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to be a crew member for the Georgia Chain Gang's, Race Across America (R.A.A.M.) event that will take place in June 2010. As a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training, I will be accompanying the riders across the U.S., helping them in any way I can. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, non-Hodgkin's & Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, as well as in memory of my daughter, Amber, who lost her life to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in June 2005. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - A Cure!
