Welcome to my Team In Training home page!


I have a mission - to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. June 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of when I was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After six months of chemotherapy and 21 radiation treatments, I'm happy to say that I've been in remission for more than nine years. My first introduction to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society was during this time, and I'm personally so grateful for their research and patient care programs.


To help support the LLS mission, I am training for the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco as a member of the LLS Team In Training (some of the Nike team are in the photo above). Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and Hodgkin's Lymphoma. With your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.


This will be my second Team in Training event - I ran the Seattle Marathon in 2010 and raised more than $2,000! It was my first marathon, and it was AWESOME! This time I will also be a part of a corporate team from Deloitte Consulting and you can also visit our Deloitte Atlanta team page from this page.
