Welcome to my Team In Training home page - that's right, I'm training to run a half marathon in October! (That's 13.1 miles for you non-athletes - like me!)



For those that know me well you probably think I've lost my mind after all, a few weeks ago I'd never run a mile in my life - ever. But the Team in Training program has inspired me to run the Nike Women's Half Marathon in sunny (and hilly) San Francisco on October 19, 2008.



All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers - and in particular my inspiring TNT hero, Mallory who will also be racing beside me in October. We need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
